Semi-private training sessions at Podfit are done so in the private studio in the heart of York, above the Disney store. With a maximum of 5 other people, you will exercise for 45 minutes, focusing on the key components of health and fitness. There are opportunities to review your progress, and discuss success and challenges with others on the programme.

The exercise you'll do in this programme is varied. With an initial movement assessment included, you can expect to use a variety of equipment and training methods. And just because the sessions are not 1-2-1, doesn't mean you won't have your progress tracked.
The Podfit Lifestyle Blueprint ensures all our clients are engaged on a programme of study, leading to an all round healthier you. As a Podfit client, you'll be given the opportunity to educate yourself on what you're eating and why it works.

The training is designed to cover a wide range of individuals. Each section of the workout has varying options, so the 'fitter' people may be doing a more progressive exercise than those new to the programme.
You will need to have an initial movement analysis session, which will teach you about basic lifting techniques, and allow us to assess your suitability.
Our private studio hosts both Personal training and semi-private training. The semi-private sessions are scheduled throughout the week, mornings, lunchtime's and evenings, so there are options for everyone.
Sessions are 45 minutes in duration. This will include movement preparation, the main body of the workout and a cool down.
Yes! We have private showers in the studio, and offer complimentary towels.
Your term begins the day of your first session.
We like all our semi-private clients to let us know as soon as possible, if they are unlikely to make a session. This gives an opportunity for others to book into the sessions, especially if the class is full.
Using our app, we ask that any cancellations are made 8 hours prior to the start of the class.
